Student Presentation Award of the Physical Society of Japan (Division of Theoretical Particle Physics)
Call for Applications
１．授賞対象
日本物理学会学生優秀発表賞実施要綱に基づき，学会における大学院生の一般講演（口頭）で，事前に応募したもののうちから,優れておりかつ研究内容が高く評価できるものに授与する。
1. Award Eligibility
Based on the guidelines of the Physical Society of Japan Student Best Presentation Award, the award will be given to a graduate student member who delivers an outstanding oral presentation and whose research is highly evaluated.
２．授賞人数
理論（Th），現象論（Ph），格子（Lat）の3分野でそれぞれ数名以内とする。
2. Number of Awardees:
A few awardees may be selected from each of the three fields: Theory (Th), Phenomenology (Ph), and Lattice (Lat).
３．審査方法
領域代表，副代表，領域運営委員3名の計５名で審査委員会を構成する。審査委員会は，3分野（Th,Ph,Lat）をそれぞれ担当する採点委員を委嘱する。採点委員は，当該分野の発表の採点を行い，それに基づいて審査委員会が受賞候補者を決定する。
3. Selection of awardees
The Review Committee will consist of five members: the Division Representative, the Deputy Division Representative, and three members of the Division Steering Committee. The committee will appoint examiners from the scoring committee, each responsible for one of the three fields (Th, Ph, and Lat). These examiners will evaluate the presentations in their respective fields. Based on their evaluations, the Review Committee will determine the award candidates.
なお，応募者が多数の場合は，審査委員会のもとで予備審査を行うことがある。
A preliminary review may be conducted by the Review Committee if the number of applications is large.
４．応募資格
a) 日本物理学会会員である者。
b) 素粒子論領域での一般講演（口頭）の登壇者であり，講演時に大学院に在籍している者（学会開催月に修了する者を含む）。
c) 過去に日本物理学会学生優秀発表賞（素粒子論領域）を受賞していない者。 (*1)
4. Eligibility
a) Applicants must be members of the Physical Society of Japan.
b) Applicants must give an oral presentation in the field of theoretical particle physics and be enrolled in a graduate program at the time of the presentation (including those who will complete their studies in the month of the conference).
c) Applicants must not have previously received the Student Presentation Award from the Physical Society of Japan (Division of Theoretical Particle Physics). (*1)
５．応募方法
応募には，以下の（１），（２），（３）の全てが必要である。特に，学会への講演申込み画面で，学生優秀発表賞の応募欄の「応募する」にチェックするだけでは審査対象にならないので注意すること。
5. Application procedure
All of the following steps (1), (2), and (3) are required for the application. Simply checking the 'Apply' box for the Student Presentation Award on the conference application screen is not sufficient to be considered for the award.
（１） 学会への講演申込み画面で， 学生優秀発表賞の応募欄の「応募する」にチェックする。秋季大会で複数の講演を申し込む場合も，応募は一人一講演までとする。
キーワード 1.Th，2.Ph，3.Lat のいずれかを必ず選択すること。選択した分野で審査される。もし，キーワード 4.Th/Ph，5.Th/Lat，6.Ph/Lat のいずれかを選択した場合，原則として一番目の分野で審査される。
合同セッションおよび連続講演は希望しないこと。
また，他の講演者から連続講演の希望があっても審査の公平性の観点から連続講演とはならないので共同研究者などに周知すること。
(1) Check the 'Apply' box for the Student Presentation Award on the conference application page. Each applicant is limited to one presentation per meeting.
Keywords: Select one from 'Th,' 'Ph,' or 'Lat' for your presentation. If you choose 4.Th/Ph, 5.Th/Lat, or 6.Ph/Lat, your presentation will primarily be evaluated based on the first field. Do not request a joint session or consecutive presentations. Even if other speakers request consecutive presentations with you, they will not be scheduled consecutively to ensure fairness in the evaluation process. Please inform your collaborators of this policy.
（２） 講演申込み締切日までに， 必要事項をWebフォーム(Googleフォームへのリンク)にて提出すること。
ただし、Webフォームの使用が困難な場合は以下の資料A及びBを素粒子論委員会の賞担当者まで電子メールで送付することで代替できる。

A. 所定の様式（Excelファイル）に必要情報を記入したもの。

B. 「査読付き発表論文リスト」，「査読付き論文誌へ投稿中の論文リスト」，
および「日本物理学会での発表リスト（登壇者に限る）」(それぞれ主要なもの3つまで)を 一つの pdf ファイルにまとめたもの。
(2) Submit the required information via the web form (Link to Google Forms) by the presentation application deadline.
If you encounter difficulties using the web form, you may send the following materials, A and B, by email to the contact person for the Student Presentation Award of the Physical Society of Japan (Theoretical Particle Physics).
(Subject: Materials for the Student Presentation Award of the Physical Society of Japan)
A. An Excel file containing the required information in the provided form (all 11 items must be completed).
B. A single PDF file containing lists of 'peer-reviewed publications,' 'papers submitted to peer-reviewed journals,' and 'presentations at JPS meetings where the applicant was the presenter.' Each list may include up to three major items.
応募者が多数の場合は， 講演申込み締切後に予備審査を行うことがある。
予備審査の結果は，できるだけ速やかに応募者に伝えられる。
予備審査を通過し，事項（３）を満たした者が講演を審査される。
A preliminary review may be conducted after the deadline if there are a large number of applicants. The results of the review will be notified to applicants as soon as possible. Only those who have passed the preliminary review and completed item (3) will be considered for the award.
（３）概要集原稿を期日までに学会に提出すること。
また，概要集原稿送信締切日までに，同じ原稿を素粒子論委員会の賞担当者にも電子メールで送付すること。（件名：学会学生発表賞講演概要）
(3) Submit the abstract manuscript to the JPS meeting by the JPS deadline. The same manuscript must also be sent by email to the contact person of the award committee on theoretical particle physics by the abstract submission deadline. (Subject: Abstracts for Student Presentation Awards)

６．その他の注意事項：
審査する講演は，本人の希望によって大会プログラムの講演時間の移動があった場合には，原則として審査対象から外れるので注意すること。
6. Other important notes
Eligible presentations must be given in the specified session. If a presentation is moved to another session at the presenter's request, it will not be evaluated and will not be considered for the award.
